Paper burns. Steel corrodes. Stainless steel works better but still has limits, but Titanium is essentially indestructible. Grade 7 Titanium, specifically, is the most corrosion-resistant of all titanium alloys. It’s mechanically equivalent to Grade 2 but includes a tiny palladium content that makes it resistant to salt water, chlorides. No rust, no corrosion, resistant to high temperatures. It survives floods, fires, and the test of time. ColdQR Titanium Backup Plates are 5.5mm thick, with a 6mm border. A solid piece of metal designed to survive whatever happens.
